The 2008/2009 school year begins in September. You are encouraged to register early, as class size is limited.

Attendance records are compiled by the instructors. These reports are sent to the student's employer (sponsor) and to the students on a bi-monthly basis. Students are obligated to attend classes regularly.

Class hours are from 6:00-9:00 p.m., to enable students to work during the day. Upon successful completion of the 144 required hours per year of instruction, the student will have fulfilled the state obligation for the classroom education. Along with the appropriate on-the-job training, they will be allowed to test for licensing in the trade.

All R.I.C.T.A. instructors are active in the fields they teach. They hold licenses and higher education in those fields, and are familiar with the day-to-day operations of their trades. Teaching techniques include lectures, films, videos, guest speakers, field trips, class discussions, and other proven instructional methods.
